Trump to meet with United States auto CEOs amid jobs push

Trump began the meeting by speaking about how he wanted more auto plants in America. On Tuesday morning, January 24th, he spoke directly to the CEOs of General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler at a meeting.
"As the USA manufacturing base increases its competitiveness, we are able to further increase our investment, resulting in more jobs for America and better results for our owners", General Motors chairwoman and CEO Mary Barra reportedlysaid. FCA is controlled by Italian automaker Fiat and incorporated in The Netherlands.
The CEOs stayed at the meeting about an hour.
"General Motors manufacturers the Chevrolet Cruze sedan in Lordstown, Ohio", a General Motors spokesman said in a statement at the time.
