Actress Pheobe Waller-Bridge, star of the BBC and Amazon-produced comedy show Fleabag, is in talks to join the forthcoming Han Solo movie, Mashable has confirmed via a source familiar with the talks.
The actress will play a CGI-character in the film, which has just started production, so reports Variety.
While it's certainly possible that the role is for an alien, like of Lupita Nyong'o's performance as Maz Kanata in The Force Awakens, Variety only refers to droids, which has us thinking that Waller-Bridge's potential role might be for a droid companion in the film.

The movie is now filming, with Donald Glover taking over the role of Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as an as-yet-unnamed mentor character, and Emilia Clarke as an unspecified character.
