Charles Oakley's ban from Madison Square Garden lifted

It was Dolan who was reportedly behind Oakley's ejection from a Knicks game last week, which ended in the former power forward's arrest and a torrent of criticism for the owner, who implied after the incident that Oakley is an alcoholic.

Charles Oakley was banned from Madison Square Garden by Knicks chief James Dolan after an altercation last week.

The NBA intervened in the Oakley-Dolan feud Monday, trying to put an end to what NBA commissioner Adam Silver called a "disheartening" situation.

Jordan and Oakley were teammates in Chicago before Oakley was traded to NY, where he became a fan favourite with the Knicks from 1988-98. "I love the fans in NY".

'The Batman' Has Found a New Director
Fingers crossed for The Batman to start production by 2017, especially considering how fast they found their new director. Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give.

Oakley has had his ban from the Garden lifted, according to a source. They've been supportive. One of the things I told the commissioner, I want to have a press conference and I want him to apologize to me and the fans. In his grandiosity and insecurity, he then invites, and I would assume pays for, such "outstanding ex-Knick citizens" as Latrell Sprewell and Vin Baker to sit with him at a game.

The affair was made uglier as Knicks fans serenaded their team with various pro-Oakley chants later in the week.

"Both Mr. Oakley and Mr. Dolan were apologetic about the incident and subsequent comments, and their negative impact on the Knicks organization and the NBA", Silver continued.

The ban being lifted is progress, but Oakley is hoping to see Dolan make an apology on a public platform.

"I appreciate the efforts of Mr. Dolan, Mr. Oakley and Mr. Jordan to work towards a resolution of this matter."
