Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom US launch has been delayed

This midrange device will come with the BeautyLive application that will let its users stream live by applying the beautification filter. As it turns out, ASUS plans to ship a somewhat different smartphone to the consumers in the United States, as it will come with more powerful specs. According to the listing on Asus's site, the ZenFone Live will offer almost 10 hours of video playback and about 14 hours of web browsing.

The ZenFone 3 Zoom was scheduled to be released sometime in February, but we are getting close to the end of the month with no launch announcement. The chipset powering the handset is not mentioned, but it will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB storage variants which can be further extended up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The main area of expertise of the Asus Zenfone Live is its camera.

On the connectivity front, the device support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, micro USB and dual SIM. The front snapper comes with modes such as Low Light, Manual Mode (for DSLR-like camera detail settings), Night, and Selfie modes while the rear camera sports real-time beautification mode, panorama, depth of field modes. Also, the Asus ZenFone 3 Go might be equipped with a five-magnet speaker coupled with smart amp.

According to Gadgets 360, the leaked image of the handset appears to have a metal body in a variety of colors, such as black, white, pink and gold.
