Now, multiple reports have indicated that the Giants will also add former New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith to the mix.

Smith's tenure with the Jets was rocky, to say the least.

Many were wondering if the Giants were planning on using a draft pick to find Manning's successor and even though they are going to sign Smith and Johnson, they could still find a mid-to-late-round project in the draft.

The biggest news of the day for the New York Giants is that defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has reportedly agreed to a massive four-year-contract. He has started 14 games since the 2014 season and played in just two games last season.

The Giants need to begin the search, in earnest, for their next franchise quarterback.

Briton jailed in Bali for murder of policeman
Her British DJ boyfriend, David James Taylor, was convicted of the same offence and jailed for six years. Taylor, known as DJ Nutzo, was supported in court by his parents John and Janet Taylor from the UK.

The Giants also signed QB Josh Johnson today, so they have some choices to make about the pecking order.

The 30-year-old has not appeared in a game since 2013, when he was with the Bengals.

Johnson most of the 2016 season as the third quarterback behind starter Eli Manning and Nassib, but was promoted to the No. 2 quarterback after Nassib underwent season-ending elbow surgery in Week 16.

The 2015 season was supposed to be Smith's final chance to prove whether he was a respectable starting quarterback. He has not appeared in any regular-season National Football League game since 2013 with the Browns. He underwent surgery last November, vowing to be ready for training camp.
