White House: Trump has done all he could to pass AHCA

Just one day after saying the White House was going to "win" by passing the American Health Care Act through the House, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has changed his tune as current vote totals for the legislation continue to come up short.

Spicer said in his daily press briefing that President Donald Trump "has left everything on the field when it comes to this bill".

He quickly corrected his error and said "tax reform" before briefly dissembling for a bit as he regained his footing.

House Speaker Paul Ryan was also on board with a Friday vote, telling reporters in brief remarks Thursday night that "We have been promising the American people that we will repeal and replace this broken law because it's collapsing and it's failing families".

"But at the end of the day, this isn't a dictatorship".

Jawdat added that his forces, advancing towards the mosque, killed tens of militants and destroyed 23 booby-trapped vehicles. The last week has seen the highest level of displacement yet, with 32,000 displaced between March 12 and 15.

"I think the president has given it his all", he said.

The White House played down suggestions on Thursday that President Donald Trump had failed to close a deal to reform USA healthcare, claiming the delay of a crucial vote did not spell substantive problems. "Is the president humbled by the process?"

Unless White House aides have access to a time machine, it's far too late to put fresh distance between Trump and the man Trump tasked with running his campaign.

"At some point we either have a deal or we don't", Spicer said.

Democrats have correctly called the Republican health care plan a tax cut bill, but it is the first piece of a larger puzzle that involves redistributing wealth to the top.
