  • The Voice’s stage invader says he was ‘almost choked to death’ by ITV security

Mo Adeniran was crowned the victor of The Voice on Sunday night, beating fellow finalists Into The Ark and Jamie Miller, who came second and third place respectively.

The Voice UK live final didn't exactly pass without a hiccup, with a stage invader being dragged off by security during the show.

Her exit means that either Mo Adeniran, Into The Ark or Jamie Miller will be crowned the victor on Sunday night's show.

As the victor, Mo will receive a recording contract with Polydor Records, home to artists such as Take That and Ellie Goulding.

As for not having an act in the final, the 51-year-old quipped: 'I'm all out of opinions until about 2019, so it's OK'.

But it was Mo that came out on top, as host Emma Willis announced he had won the show.

As Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and will.i.am all said they would be back next year, Rossdale was happy to be the odd one out.

"People have got to know me a little bit, way more than they ever did before". Right when Jamie Miller was revealed to the third-place finisher, someone crashed the stage holding a piece of paper.

He had been the bookies' favourite going into the final, where he beat Michelle John, Jamie Miller and runners-up Into The Ark.

However, Gavin Rosdale will go to the finale without any act as his team members were eliminated in the semi-finals last week.

What is your take on The Voice UK incidents within the finale tonight?

It has been confirmed that the victor will not release a Winner's Single this year.

In a new move by the show, Mo will now head straight into the studio and record a winner's EP, which will be released in a few weeks time.
