  • Who is the real Rakhmat Akilov

Akilov was wearing the green clothes supplied by the detention center, local media reported. But Swedish police revealed last week they had intelligence on Akilov in 2016, but that they could not verify the information.

Meanwhile, an 11-year-old girl has been identified as one of the four people killed in last week's attack, her parents said. After Eriksson's statement, the judge consented to the prosecution's request to have the rest of the hearing held behind closed doors due to the classified nature of the information in the investigation.

Authorities say Akilov drove a stolen truck into a crowd at the Ahlens department store in Stockholm.

Other victims included a 31-year old Belgian woman, a 69-year old Swedish woman, and a 41-year-old Briton whom the British government identified as Chris Bevington.

They added that he was sympathetic to extremist groups including Islamic State and had been sought by authorities for deportation.

"During his stay overseas, he was recruited through the internet by emissaries of the worldwide terrorist organisation the Islamic State", Kamilov said in quotes from a press briefing published by the ministry. Fifteen others were injured in the attack, with eight still hospitalized.

The prosecutor's office said on Tuesday that it will revoke the arrest of a second man police had detained on Sunday because they suspected he was involved in the case.

There were no more details on which country Uzbekistan had told.

Akilov, a construction worker who had been refused permanent residency in Sweden, was arrested several hours after the attack.

The AP reports that 163,000 asylum-seekers arrived in Sweden in 2015, the highest per capita rate in Europe.
