At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, opening May 27: Pandora - The World of Avatar, an all-new land at Disney's Animal Kingdom, will transport guests to a mystical world of bioluminescent rainforests, floating mountains and soaring banshees.

According to a press release from Disney, details were shared about the story behind this mysterious destination somewhere on the Outer Rim - lying on the edge of the Unknown Regions.

Saturday afternoon at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017, Disney Parks and Lucasfilm presented "Star Wars & Disney Parks: A Galaxy In The Making". This was evidenced by a number of big reveals that took place during a panel at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando this past weekend.

One of the land's two main attractions involves the Millennium Falcon, which will allow every rider to enter the iconic ship's cockpit and help control it on an interactive interstellar mission.

"It would be easy to think we should revisit some of our favorite places".

Susan Rice responsible for unmasking intercepts of Trump associates
Rice, in an interview on MSNBC, would not say whether she had viewed intelligence involving Trump and his aides. Nunes also said he confirmed that "additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked".

Going with an entirely new village concept may seem like an odd design choice at first. "That's not what we wanted to do".

The goal is immersion for guests, a chance for them to suspend disbelief and feel like the attractions are active and involving rather than passive, watching a story they've already heard play out again. Additionally, as teased, the Star Wars land initiative will include the attractions, taking the idea from what I dubbed a "Passholder distraction" in Frontierland to being the full-blown immersive experience Disney is seeking. We want you to discover your own Star Wars story.

The environment will be reflected on the current films with Disney cast in the roles of the First Order and the Resistance. In fact, the MagicBands are so far advanced than what you'd expect it to be, that it could even track where you are and what you're doing inside the park. Polite society mingles with the underworld.

But Fitzgerald let the crowd at the Orange County Convention Center know Disney was in production with Industrial Light and Magic to produce scenes from the planet that fans got a glimpse of in the new trailer for the film that comes out December 15. "It's this remote frontier outpost". The panel participants included Scott Trowbridge, Wendy Anderson, Asa Kalama and Chris Beatty from Disney Imagineering, as well as Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo and Doug Chiang.

Fans launched a social media campaign #WheresRey in 2016 when Ridley's fearless Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was missing from some of the film's toys and merchandising.
