April, a 15-year-old at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York, became an internet sensation after a live stream of her enclosure went up on YouTube Feb. 10.

For those watching the live cam, it went out with a whimper. People were glued to their computers as they waited for her to give birth to her fourth calf.

The park said in a statement: "We will all be there to say goodbye". Entire virtual communities formed, regularly sharing observations on everything from April's apparent mood to the size and status of her nether regions.

Meanwhile, April's baby had still not been named.
