Players history-maker Kim out of Byron Nelson

- Si Woo Kim earned access to a room reserved for winners of The Players Championship.

"From being in a position a couple of weeks ago where I wasn't here to finish tied second, it's a good week", Poulter said after his best finish since November 2014.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.

"It seems the changes they have made are what the West Course deserves and it is going back to its rightful self, so respect to the club, to the European Tour and to the guys involved for making those changes, and Im sure the players will enjoy playing it next week", he added.

Kim offered no visible signs of pain Sunday, as he birdied three holes on the front nine to go out in 3-under 33 and parred the entire back nine to shoot a closing 3-under 69 and finish at 10 under, three shots clear of the field.

"I still can't believe I'm the champion, and I'm very excited that I am the youngest champion", Kim said during the post-tournament interview.

Showing experience beyond his years, Kim failed to hit a bogey in the final round.

Ian Poulter salutes the crowd after nearly pitching his fourth shot into the hole on the 18th green.

"I wasn't nervous at all because I was leading", he said of the 17th. "I just focused on myself and I didn't try to think about others' scores".

The megarocket represents a robust foundation for ultimately moving human presence out into the solar system, Gerstenmaier said. In the recent budget compromise to fund the government until October, Congress allocated NASA about $19.7 billion.

The only drama at the end came from Ian Poulter, who was happy just to be here. It was Kim's second career PGA Tour victory.

Capping off the week with the grand victory at The Players provides Kim with another privilege - the strong possibility of joining the worldwide team at this year's Presidents Cup in September. From the right hand rough on the 18th, he shanked his second shot, bouncing it off hospitality tents and the cart path into a bush. He took a penalty drop and then hit wedge over the trees and almost holed it, tapping in for bogey and 71.

His four-round total of 10-under-par 278 topped Ian Poulter (71) and Louis Oosthuizen (73) by three shots and earned the South Korean his second PGA Tour title and the second Players by a native of his country, his boyhood idol, 2011 champion K.J. Choi. "Si Woo and I communicate really well", said Carens.

It was his first albatross, and he wasn't done.

"While I was practicing with [Choi], he taught me about the course at the Stadium", said Kim. Remarkably, Kim never did. "If it's ideal weather like yesterday afternoon, yes, you can go, 2, 3-under the last three, four holes, but it was tough today".

His best hope was a mistake from Kim, who played bogey-free for a three-shot victory. You can't keep finishing 11th, 15th and 20th and walk away thinking: 'That was good.' Because it's not. I mean, seriously, there were more nines, eight and sevens on scorecards than what you see at the Miss America pageant.

Because he can fill those five years with a litany of starts in golf's biggest tournaments. It just shows you how good a player he is and how cool and calm he is. "Never once did he look flustered at all". He followed with a short birdie on the 17th and a long par from just off the 18th green.

Kim began the day two shots off the lead shared by Americans JB Holmes and Kyle Stanley - but birdies on the first, seventh and ninth gave him a two-shot lead at the turn.

84 Score of third-round co-leader J.B.
