  • Bill Cosby arrives at his sexual assault trial for another day of jury deliberations at the Montgomery County Courthouse Wednesday

Keshia Knight Pulliam is finally answering the question everyone has been asking: Why is she really supporting Bill Cosby? The jury is still deliberating the verdict.

Cosby is accused of drugging and violating a woman at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He says it was consensual. Today begins their third day of deliberations.

Bill Cosby has arrived for the start of Day 3 of jury deliberations in his sexual assault trial.

Jurors deliberated into the night Tuesday, going outside for some fresh air after 8 p.m.

The jury got the case Monday afternoon.

The prosecution leaned on Cosby's words in the 2005 deposition, in which he admitted obtaining sedatives with a view to having sex. Constand told police she was semi-conscious as he touched her breast and genitals. "He's been upbeat", she said.

Amid the ongoing (but potentially soon to be concluded) Bill Cosby trial, one person's continued support of the man, despite the dozens of assault accusations lobbed against him, has confounded many.

So, Jackson, whose statement was issued to the court on November 20, 2016, permitted Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt to read what the jury may have considered compelling testimony. Kelly Johnson testfied that she was drugged and assaulted in 1996 so prosecutors could establish a pattern. "It's easy to be there when things are good, when business is good, when money is good... but I wanted to do what I would have wanted to receive".

After taking the pills, Constand said, she had trouble talking and difficulty moving and was suffering double vision, before briefly losing consciousness.

The three charges accuse Cosby of assaulting Constand without her consent, assaulting her when she was unconscious and assaulting her using drugs to substantially impair her ability to consent.

The tweet broke a mysterious period of silence on social media for the President, who until then had not tweeted since June 7. Trump was also asked if recordings exist of his conversations with Comey, as he has hinted in tweets in the past.

Constand testified that the pills left her disoriented and unable to resist.

The criminal case against Cosby partly stems from the accuser's related civil lawsuit. As such, legal experts have said the trial fits the "he said-she said" arguments so common to sexual offense cases.

Besides Constand, the fourth day of the trial on Friday, June 9, was attended by two other Cosby accusers, Victoria Valantino and Linda Kirkpatrick.

"Everybody knows you, Mr Cosby", a police officer told him while taking down his original deposition in the case in 2005.

Jurors did hear Cosby's side of the story - but not in his voice. Some 60 women have come forward accusing Mr. Cosby of sexually violating them, but the statute of limitations for prosecution had run out in almost every case.

The defense argues that Cosby and Constand were lovers sharing a consensual sexual encounter.

Cosby was accompanied by his spokesman into the Montgomery County Courthouse outside Philadelphia on Tuesday. "They'll take the edge off", Cosby told her, she testified.

They also wanted to hear Cosby's wording when he referred to the three pills as "friends", as well as Constand's initial statements to authorities in Canada.

Deliberations have worn on for about 16 hours since the jury got the case on Monday night.
