The jury in the sexual assault trial of Bill Cosby has deadlocked in its opinion and a mistrial has been declared by the judge.

Constand was composed on the stand under a fierce barrage of cross-examination from the defense, which sought to portray their relationship as consensual, and Cosby's accuser as a liar.

During her cross-examination, McMonagle exposed that Valliere was biased, and had previously expressed interest in the case through Facebook posts and comments.
Testimony began June 5, 2017 and ended June 12, the same day the jury got the case.

Constand testified and was grilled by Cosby's defense over alleged inconsistencies in her story over the years. On Saturday, they came back and told O'Neill they were hopelessly deadlocked. Judge Steven O'Neill instructed them to keep working toward a unanimous decision.
