  • Matthew Weintraub Bucks County district attorney speaks to the media Monday in Solebury Pa

The FBI and a handful of local police agencies have launched a massive manhunt on two properties in rural Solebury Township, Pa. Cops are considering him a person of interest in the case, and he is now being held on $1 million bail.

A half-mile from where Weintraub addressed reporters twice on Monday, authorities searched a 68-acre farm in the 6000 block of Lower York Road in Solebury.

The missing men's photos have begun to appear on digital billboards along highways in the area.

On Friday around 6 p.m., Mark Sturgis, 22, told his father that he was going to meet up with his longtime best friend, Tom Meo, 21, and that they would be ready for their construction jobs the next morning.

Jimi Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township was last seen at 6 p.m. July 5 and was reported missing the next day after he had no contact with friends or family and didn't show up to work, police said.

"We continue to receive tips hourly and some of them are bearing fruit, so please keep them coming", he said Wednesday.

Weintraub would not elaborate on the evidence recovered, but said authorities were "encouraged by it".

Efforts on Monday to reach Mr. DiNardo's parents or his lawyer by phone were unsuccessful.

The man said he used to hike the property when it was previously owned by a different family.

"We hope to get a very, very high bail on Mr. DiNardo", Weintraub said, according to a live broadcast of his news conference carried by WPVI-6ABC. Finocchiaro has been arrested multiple times on charges that include drug possession, driving under the influence and assault. Meo and Sturgis were reported missing Sunday. He also said that based on information that he "can't share", foul play was likely involved in the disappearance of the young men.

The district attorney said there is information that the missing men knew each other. We're making great progress, but there's so much more work to do, ' Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said during a press conference on Monday afternoon.

Weintraub would not say if the men were believed to be in danger, but that authorities are treating the case "as a criminal investigation at this time" until more is known.

A 20-year-old linked to a Pennsylvania farm at the center of a search for four missing men tried to sell one man's auto after he went missing, even as it contained the man's "life-saving" diabetic kit, authorities announced Wednesday.

The Route 202 search area and the Aquetong Road property are right around the corner from each other in Solebury. The original weapons charge had been dismissed May 30, and a county prosecutor authorized the refiling of the charge Monday. The police also recovered Mr. Sturgis's vehicle, a 2004 Nissan Altima, at an outdoor shopping mall, Mr. Potash said.

DA Weintraub said that "all hands [are] on deck" in the search for the missing men, and that he believes there has been foul play in their disappearances.
