Amazon Anytime - The Revolutionary New Messaging App?

According to some recent reports, the giant company Amazon, mostly specialized in e-commerce, is working on developing a new messaging app. The mega retailer has been surveying customers about this new messaging service, according to images shared by AFTVnews, and it's been teasing several features that Anytime could offer.
Anytime appears to be more ambitious product and it seems it is created to compete other messaging apps like Facebook messenger and WhatsApp. Unlike standalone messaging apps like WhatsApp and Viber, Anytime would let you reach your friends by using their names instead of their phone number.
Furthermore, the report also details Anytime as "an all-in-one feature rich service that could also rival social networks", needless to say the focus will still be on the messaging, voice and video, group chats and stickers as well.
What do you think of this Amazon Anytime leak? That being the case, Amazon is seemingly trying to make Anytime a cross-platform app that can serve as a one-stop-shop for any and all types of social interactions. This is somewhat of a higher level of security in the forthcoming Anytime app. The app needs to bring a better service to counter WhatsApp.

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT the messaging app market couldn't get any more crowded, along come the rumours that Amazon wants a piece of the action.
The new rollout includes all Alexa-enabled devices, including Amazon's app that gives users access to the virtual assistant on the go. Apparently, the app will enable users to chat with businesses for customer service and even for shopping. Moreover, a very important feature of it will be the ability to share photos and videos with your contacts.
