  • Bond is back: Daniel Craig comes back as 007

James Bond will return to the big screen for a fresh instalment in 2019, creators have said.

The official 007 website announced Monday that the 25th movie about the British spy will be released November 8, 2019.

Still without a name and lead, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer announced the movie will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have scripted the last six editions, while Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will return as producers.

Nevertheless, Daniel Craig's participation in the movie has been uncertain recently, which makes fans deliberating if a new actor will take over the James Bond role. The 007 website's announcement does not list cast or a director. Craig infamously said that he would "rather slash (his) wrists" than return to the part; however, the U.K.'s Mirror reported earlier this month that Craig made a decision to stay on for Bond 25 after hearing of the wealth of British talent eyed to replace him.

"If I did another Bond movie", he added, "it would only be for the money", the legendary James Bond actor had confessed.

In 2012, it was reported that Craig was the highest-paid Bond actor of all time after netting £31m for another two outings, which included the most recent, Spectre. When is the new James Bond film out in the UK? He first appeared in 2006's "Casino Royale" and went on to redefine the role, capturing the entirety of the original Ian Fleming novels with authentic spirit and style.

Film was not produced by Eon Productions.
