Kathy Griffin's latest major hair change has a powerful meaning behind it. And according to writer Yashir Ali, Griffin shaved her head in support of her sister's battle with cancer. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Garry Griffin, her brother, has also passed away as he fought against his stage 4 esophageal cancer.

In the second photo Kathy is sitting next to her mom Maggie Griffin, who's covering her mouth in surprise after seeing the lovely gesture.

To recall, Griffin has been under fire for the past few months when she faced some issues against the US President, #Donald Trump.

It shows the 56-year-old comedienne smiling and patting her bald head after the haircut. It is split with another image that appears to be Griffin's mother Maggie with her hand atop the celeb's head. Her act supports her sister in the most handsome and emotional way.
