  • Trump Still a Working-Class Hero, Democratic Poll Shows

Twenty-six percent said they viewed Trump as a levelheaded person, while 71 percent say they consider him unstable. On Wednesday, his outlook appeared no better, with the president reaching a 38 percent approval rating and 62 percent disapproval rating. Days later, he again praised the firm, posting: "The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating. That's higher than O's #'s!" Almost three out of five voters said they think Trump is abusing the powers of his office; asked if they believe the president thinks his authority supersedes US law, they agreed, 60 to 36 percent.

A series of new polls on Wednesday showed that the president is becoming even more unpopular following a series of setbacks including the defeat of Senate Republicans' proposed healthcare law and the departure of his chief of staff and yet another communications director. Fifty percent of that key voting bloc that helped propel the real estate mogul to the White House now say they are unhappy with the president and 43 percent approve. Sixty-two percent do not believe that the President is honest, and just 26% say he is level-headed. The polls used in his average split Trump's approval rating into four categories: strongly approve, somewhat approve, somewhat disapprove and strongly disapprove. What's more, 55% of voters in military households said transgender people should be able to serve.

The Quinnipiac poll surveyed 1,125 voters nationwide between July 27 and August 1 over landline telephones and cellphones. FiveThirtyEight, the polling website spearheaded by statistician Nate Silver, estimated that Rasmussen had a mean-reverted bias that skewed conservative by two percentage points. 1 with a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points.

Sensex, Nifty at record high; RIL, HDFC Bank stocks fuel rally
At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex added 216.98 or 0.68% at 32,245.87 with 18 components posting rise. The rupee opened lower at the interbank foreign exchange market and slid by 11 paise to 64.43 per dollar in early trade.

That data includes a stunningly bad 33 percent approval rating in the latest Quinnipiac poll.

Last week was a bad week for Donald Trump, and now that the approval rating numbers have been released, it seems as though voters have been paying attention and expressed their opinions over the many issues on the table.
