The former Ohio State star has been the subject of a league investigation into multiple off-the-field incidents, including domestic violence accusations by a Tiffany Thompson, a former girlfriend.

Elliott ran for 1,631 years and 15 touchdowns in his rookie season, landing him a first-team All-Pro honor. He has three business days to file notice of appeal, after which a hearing would be held within ten days.

After a long, drawn out investigation by the NFL, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended six games for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Any ruling would be considered binding.

Elliott stands to miss games against the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.

The NFL said its decision to bar Elliott from the field when the regular season begins comes after an "extensive investigation" into a domestic violence complaint first lodged against him a year ago.

There were even reports previous year that the girl vowed to ruin Elliott if he ever broke up with her and that he indeed broke up with her.

Having being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1969, the Australian track star passed away in Perth aged 79. Sydney-born Cuthbert was 18 years old when she won three gold medals at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.

National Football League star Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended for 6 games, TMZ is reporting.

Legal authorities concluded that Elliott's accuser was not credible and rejected charging him. With Elliott sidelined, Dallas will likely turn to Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris and Rod Smith at running back.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently defended Elliott and said he expected no penalties from the NFL.

The league sent Elliott a six-page letter that explained why his suspension was six games, and Elliott's lawyers have responded with a forceful response that claims the NFL "cherry-picked" evidence with "factual inaccuracies" while "ignoring other critical evidence". Elliott will not be allowed into the Cowboys' training complex from whenever the suspension begins until it ends.

In most gambling establishments, the Cowboys had been the odds-on favorite to come out of the NFC.
