League Expects Kaepernick to Be Invited to Meeting With Players

Colin Kaepernick has agreed to a book deal with Random House imprint One World worth just over $1 million, according to The New York Post's Ian Mohr.

Kaepernick hasn't gotten an offer from an NFL franchise despite producing better stats last season than some now employed starting and backup quarterbacks in the league.

However, another report indicated while Kaepernick has been shopping a book deal, a deal with Random House had not been signed.

That meeting included 13 current or former players, plus 11 owners and representatives from the league and the NFL Players Association. The player has linked his inability to find a new club with the protests he displayed past year after refusing to stand for the national anthem.

Kaepernick was invited to a meeting last week between players and owners by Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins to discuss the protests during the national anthem, but did not attend. Although Kaepernick has not played for the NFL this season, players have continued to kneel or sit during the national anthem in solidarity with Kaepernick.

It would not be untrue to call Colin Kaepernick the most divisive figure in modern day sports.

The IRCTC said all the passengers now hospitalised were out of danger and the same has been confirmed by hospital authorities. According to some of the passengers, they were served breakfast at 9.30 am followed by vegetable tomato soup at noon.

That is what ultimately pushed the league to the meeting table with players in recent weeks, sparked largely by rants from President Donald Trump and recent statements from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that discipline should be levied against protesting players.

The former San Francisco quarterback had been seen "taking meetings with publishers in the NY offices of WME" to sell his book, according to Page Six.

Representatives from the National Football League and NFLPA met October 3 to discuss social activism.

One major finding that stood out in the survey is the desire for a national leader-the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback stood out among the choices given to respondents. Among other things, that grievance is seeking to dig into private communications of owners and executives over the past year, apparently in hopes of finding a smoking gun that proves teams worked together against him as a form of retribution for his protests during the anthem.

There was backlash among the league due to Kaepernick's absence in the past.
