  • Japan rolls out sleek, all-female police squad to protect Ivanka

After an introduction by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, rumored to have a "bromance" with President Trump over their unity against North Korea, Ivanka spoke on workplace harassment and economic empowerment for women.

She will be joined at the fourth annual World Assembly for Women by more than 60 political, business and worldwide organization representatives from Japan and overseas.

The Japanese police department in Tokyo has put together an all-female squad of officers for specific assignment to first lady Melania Trump and other visiting female dignitaries, including presidential adviser Ivanka Trump, according to a report.

Ivanka Trump's father had been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment and assault, all of which his representatives denied.

"All too often, our workplace culture fails to treat women with appropriate respect", she said.

Her three-day visit marks Ivanka Trump's first trip to Japan. "This takes many forms, including harassment, which can never be tolerated".
