He was the NFL's best pass-rusher for a sustained period, almost a decade, as he led the league with 101.5 sacks from 1998 to 2005.

In his rookie season, James led the league in rushing with 1,553 rushing yards with 13 rushing touchdowns and went on to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors en route to becoming a First-Team All-Pro. He also started all seven postseason games he played in, registering 7.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
