  • Kadian Noble at a news conference with her attorney Jeff Herman in New York Tuesday. Noble filed a suit Monday against Harvey Weinstein

Noble has claimed the disgraced producer sexually assaulted her in France during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival - coercing her into sexual activity in return for "a film role or influence in his behalf".

More than 90 women have accused the movie mogul of sexual harassment or abuse, but now British actress Kadian Noble has come forward to file a complaint against Weinstein in NY federal court that may prove Weinstein violated sex trafficking statutes.

Kadian Noble alleges that Weinstein invited her to his room at the Le Majestic Hotel in Cannes in February 2014, on the pretense of casting her in a movie.

As per the lawsuit, once inside the room, Weinstein allegedly "began massaging [Noble] and then gripped her shoulders". He then pushed her into the bathroom, blocked her exit, groped her all over her body and forced her to perform sexual acts on him. He then allegedly told her his "people would be in touch".

Noble, who is being represented by Stuart Mermelstein, claims that she had been in contact with Weinstein about a role prior to the hotel room incident and dropped off a reel of her acting work at his London office.

He promised her a role but sexually assaulted her after she attempted to show him her showreel at his hotel during the Cannes Film Festival, she told the conference in NY.

Weinstein "blocked her exit" next according to court papers and 'pulled down Kadian's shirt, revealing her breasts, and unbuckled his trousers and belt'. In October, the DGA had held a board meeting to discuss the decades of sexual harassment and assault allegations facing Weinstein.

Actions that could constitute violations of federal sex trafficking statutes, according to the jury seeking filing.

As per Friedman's opinion, he told People that Noble's lawyers will "be very aggressive and take discoveries as soon as possible, which would mean taking depositions of the Weinstein brothers and their company".

"Upon information and belief, the code word among TWC employees "FOH", meant "Friend of Harvey", and referred to a young woman who had participated in sex in exchange for a role or position in an upcoming project", the complaint details.

'TWC employees knew to "take care" of the FOH's'.

Police in Beverly Hills, New York, London and Los Angeles are now investigating multiple sexual assault allegations against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

She is also suing the Weinstein Co. and Bob, accusing them of being aware of Weinstein's behavior and of contributing to his foreign travel to recruit women into "forced or coerced sexual encounters". "Mr Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances".
