He also accused "Charles in Charge" cast member Alex Polinsky and Adam Karl, who both corroborated Eggert's story, of lying, but couldn't explain their motivation.

She continues, "I'm sobbing and I looked at it, and I said to myself, 'It's not a legit bridge, you're not going to die, you're going to break a lot of bones and you're not even going to kill yourself. A witness, Alexander Polinsky, appeared as well and told the detectives about inappropriate touching he witnessed, as well as his own allegations of bullying by Scott Baio".

"Nicole didn't know what the statute of limitations was, but apparently the police are doing active investigations into a lot of these high-profile, older cases", the CEO of DWE Talent Management told THR. "Creep", Eggert wrote in a social media post last month. "That's unconscionable." Nicole first made her allegation against Scott on January 27.

"I was 15 years old standing on the bridge over the L.A. River at Ventura and Vineland in Studio City, and I looked down at that dry river bed and I'm sobbing, I'm sobbing", she said. "Perhaps she can explain to them her ever-changing story".

"I think that's a message people really need to understand", she continues.

"My reputation is being damaged, my family is being put through this, and I'm done", Baio added.

Police said they would investigate and try to interview Baio.

"How any of this could have happened is absolutely impossible".

Baio responded with an appearance on Good Morning America and repeated his denial of Eggert's claims. "She told me it was much worse than she described on air".
