The Arizona Cardinals selected WR/KR Christian Kirk in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he's getting some serious rookie of the year buzz.

General view of action as wide receiver Jaron Brown #13 of the Arizona Cardinals catches a pass during the second half of the National Football League game against the New York Giants at the University of Phoenix Stadium on December 24, 2017 in Glendale, Arizona.

Citing a police report obtained from the Scottsdale Police Department, TMZ wrote on Tuesday that Kirk was arrested on February 3 and charged for criminal damage after he and a group of friends threw rocks at cars parked outside the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament.

Kirk and another man were arrested and charged with criminal damage to a auto before being released. They broke the window of at least one vehicle.

The performer wore a floor-length ruffled gown with silk gauze and hand-pleated frills, and carried a turnlock-style handbag. C'mon! I know it's a millionaire deal with Coach but still.

Here is what a Cardinals spokesperson told NFL.com: "We were aware of this incident prior to the draft".

Before, throughout and after this year's draft, Cardinals coach Steve Wilks and general manager Steve Keim consistently discussed their desire to select high-character players - including Kirk. The Cardinals stressed that they won't be issuing any further comment while the case remains pending. "Our understanding is that the process will be resolved in the near future", the team said.

Kirk caught 71 passes while at Texas A&M last season, tallying 919 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

If that's not bad enough, TMZ adds that Kirk was high on cocaine at the time of the arrest.
