  • TI Arrested for Assault, Drunkenness ... Argued with Security Guard

Police in Georgia arrested rapper T.I. after the Grammy Award-winning musician attempted to enter the gated community where he lives. When the guard refused to let him in, T.I. reportedly replied, "Don't you know who I am?"

He's already been released. without bail. T.I. described the local law enforcement as "white cops in a very white area" and believes he got locked up by them for "being an affluent African-American celebrity".

The police later arrived on the scene, where both T.I. and his friend were arrested.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office said the Atlanta rapper was arrested for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and misdemeanor charges of simple assault around 4 a.m.

It's common to look at your smartphone and realize that all the apps you've left open have sucked away the battery life. Typically, Android Auto essentially mirrors your phone - with a special on-screen interface designed for the vehicle .

T.I. claims the whole thing started because he was returning home from the studio and noticed the security guard allegedly asleep in the guard shack. The friend, who had a warrant out for his arrest from Clayton County, was arrested on that warrant.

He was taken into police custody just before 5 a.m. Harris has since bonded out of jail. And in 2010, he and his wife were both arrested following a traffic stop after which cops smelled "a strong odor" of marijuana coming from his auto.

T.I's attorney told Atlanta's Channel 2 that his client was "wrongfully arrested" and that the guard was found sleeping on the job.

The statement continued, "Tip was in contact with "Tiny" by phone and "Tiny" confirmed that Tip should be let in immediately. The guard refused entry". Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or supervisor called the police.

Last weekend, T.I. saluted his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle with a Mother's Day shout-out.
