Yesterday it emerged that long before the Duke of York walked his daughter down the aisle at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, on Friday, there was concern at Buckingham Palace about public reaction to the unusual extravagance of the two-day event. It looks like Meghan and Harry's touchy-feely vibes were contagious, because Prince William and Kate Middleton (who were sitting next to them) also had a rare PDA moment: They were photographed holding hands in the pews.

Britain's Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank kneel at the altar during their wedding ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The wedding day wind proved to be quite a challenge for numerous guests, with hats and hemlines flying all over the place but it only added to the excitement of the day! She wore a gown by British designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.

The Duchess of York, best known as Fergie, and her ex-husband, took on separate duties at Princess Eugenie's wedding, each tending to a different daughter.

Delevingne rocked up to Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank wearing an outfit sure to go down in the record books for most memorable royal wedding fashion.

The queen hosted a champagne luncheon for the guests just after the ceremony, with a second reception planned for the evening.

With that in mind, this is the starting XI Jose Mourinho has chosen for Saturday's match against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

There were also crowds of well-wishers on the streets outside the castle.

The wedding featured a live performance from opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

They exchanged vows shortly after 11am with highlights of the church service including a reading from The Great Gatsby by maid of honour Beatrice. The Queen sat in the second row, meaning that, to follow protocol, the seat directly in front of her had to remain empty so that her view was not obstructed.

Even with a guest list of 850, a wedding is really about a couple's love for each other and we were all reminded of that sweet connection by newlywed Jack Brooksbank at his nuptials to Princess Eugenie today, October 12, 2018 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor.

They include Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the children of Eugenie's cousin, Prince William, and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

One noticeable absentee was Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, the wife of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, as she was carrying out an engagement in Scotland.
